As per the new rules does the British citizen need to have a Job upon arrival in UK along with their non-eu spouse?
Is the British citizen a qualified person?
In order to be able to sponsor a family member’s right to reside in the UK, the British
citizen must be able to satisfy the conditions for being a qualified person. The
application must include evidence that the British citizen is able to satisfy these
conditions. There are some exceptions to the ordinary conditions of being a qualified
person because the sponsor is a British citizen instead of an EEA national.
thank you

Do you mean November changes to EEA Regs?
Do you mean in context of a Brit returning to UK after a SS stay in another EU memberstate?
What is that quote? where from?

1. Yes November changes
2. Yes I (BC) came to UK from Ireland with my non EU wife (with family permit) through SS
3. The quote is from the new guidance for

Well at least one member has already reported being asked to provide evidence of their activity in UK after returning from a SS gig.
Also worth noting that the
map is not the territory ie such guidance is only guidance - it is not the law.
The recent
EEA Regulations changes are new and untested,;
not all of it appears compatible with EU law, and, to my knowledge, it has not yet been tested by the courts.
We certainly live in interesting times.
