Hi everyone,

Hope you are all fine. I have got a question my dad has got pr card he is a european citizen. My dad is planning to go abroad for work reasons. I was reading if you live outside of the UK for two years you will loose your permanent residency. But if my dad comes back on holidays in UK every year and do entry and exit will this work. I mean to say will he retain his permanent residency as he is entering the uk and exiting before 2 years.

No he is not my sponsor. I am living as independent.

If he can prove presence/residence in UK within 2 year period then PR should be maintained.
