Permit or do you mean RC?

If on EU route there's no ILR - its all about PR.

When did you come to UK.
Do you have a sponsor?
Timeline of your or any sponsor's activities?

Prolonged absences?

A8 national and/or student?

Hi there.
I'm an African married with an EEA and living in London from dec 2011.
I have a EEA resident permit visa expiring on september 2017.
Can I apply for the EEA (PR) or I need to wait? do you know how long after I send my passport it will send back to me, because I will need to travel in august.
thank you

When did you get married?
What has your German spouse been doing in the UK since your marriage?

Yes, you need confirmation of PR not ILR.

You don't have a 'visa' and its date doesn't really count.

Assuming sponsor has been a qualified person since you arrived in UK then count 5 years from date of arrival or date of marriage (whichever is latest).

If you acquire PR as early as March 2017 you can apply for confirmation then.
Typically 6 months or so to process.
Then free to travel.

that means that I have to send the application only after march?

Yes, you can't apply for confirmation of PR before you have actually acquired PR (status).
