Good Morning to All.

Timeline:-
Applied For PR - Non EEA family Member on 3-1-2017.
EEA Spouse - Duel National; British/EU.


My EEA wife wants to travel to EU and for that reason wants to request back her British Passport or EU National ID.

I am not travelling - just to clarify.

Would somebody please share the method of requesting back " only my EEA Sponsor's ID or Passport.

How many days HO takes to process?

Will it affect my application?

When you submit the request it will tell you the HO will aim to return your documents within 10 working days, but how long it actually takes for you to get it depends how lucky you are.

Some people got theirs in a few days while others had to wait much longer. I am currently waiting for my EEA sponsor's passport too and it is taking them quite long. Good luck to you!

I made the first request using the form on 13th January. 10 working days passed on 26th January. No passport. I requested the progress of my first request using another online form the same day. No update. A second request was submitted as well on the same day. Now still waiting...I hope you have better luck
