Hello everyone ,
I'm about to apply for residency.
So far I'm only struggling with '' evidence of comprehensive sickness insurance''.. good people this is where I need your help . Since I came to UK 15/12/2011 I'm working continuously full time to a present day.
In December 2015 i have also start studying full time in college. As you can imagine I didn't get any CSI as didn't know i might need it in the future ..
Question is do i still have to provide ''evidence of CSI '' even though I was working full time all this time?
Also I do have life insurance plan from my work ( PHDB Plan ) - but unfortunately the only way I can proof it is to send my pay slips showing deduction chart with the name of the plan.

CSI is required for people exercising treaty rights as students or self-sufficient. When you say study "full time" and work a full-time, what does that actually mean? Eight hours a day plus evening courses.
If you are exercising treaty rights as a worker no need for CSI. And no need to disclose any other insurance plans you may have.

Yes I'm working 8 hrs a day on back shift that's how I manage to study 3 days a week on full time basis course.
I still need tell them I'm a student right ? just skip the 'evidence of CSI'?
Thanks

You won't need to hold CSI if you have been employed throughout the qualifying period.

Hi all,
I have a similar (but slightly different) question, which I hope you guys can help with.
I am an EU national and arrived in the UK in 2009 to study at university. I had no CSI, so applying for PR as a student is not possible.
However, I have been in employment since 2011. First, I did a "placement year" - a year working full-time, which was a required part of my university course. Then, during my final year at university, I worked part-time (roughly 14 hours a week). During both of those years, the income from my jobs was my main income and I hardly had any additional support, which I can prove via my bank statements. However, I am still not sure if I qualified as a "worker" during those two years. Does anybody have any advice on this?
(Over the past 3 1/2 years I have been out of education and working full time, so no issues there)
Thank you for your help in advance!
Margarita
