Just a general question- When do they return passports?

Just a general question. I applied for a PRC with my mum as a family member through solicitor. The application was sent on 14th of February. On average, when do you think they send the document back? I would like my passport back as I would like to go on holiday in April but don't want to book anything in case my passport won't arrive. So on average, how long does it take them to send passports back?
Thanks

The Average is an illusive number - it can be anything up to 6 months and sometimes longer if the case is complicated. You can always request your passport back (if you are EEA or EU citizen) here
https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... ments.ofml. Just make sure you do not withdraw the application and only request your passport back. If you are outside EEA/EU country citizen, than you need to wait for the decision and there is nobody can tell you for how long.
