Hi there - Posting for my friend, not related to my FLR FP

I am helping with my friend's application for his EEA PR and his three dependants.

Under evidence of employment, it states to provide employment letter, wages, bank statements showing receipt of wages. Employment letter is not an issue (he works for a well known entertainment company)

Does this mean he has to submit 5 years worth of wages and bank statements? He did not keep wage slips when he first started at his company and his bank statements date back to 2013.

His employment letter covers his 5 year period that qualifies him and his dependants. This is the only sticky point so wanted to know if others submitted 12 x 5 years worth of bank statements in their application (will be a massive packet to send!)

The rule of thumb is to supply as many documents as possible to give less chances to Home Office to refuse the application. The bank will be more than happy to issue statements for required period (may be they will charge a fee for this) and the employer can always issue the duplicate payslips for previous periods to cover lost payslips.

I would say not as many as but precisely what ever is required in the document requirement.

I sent documents of 2.7KG but still got refused. And a friend of mine submitted 13 documents and he got a PR.

Correct documents not alot of documents.

The requirement is to prove employment over the qualifying 5 years.

So that'll be 12 x 5 years of payslips and an employment letter.

I'll tell him to submit this plus last 6 months bank statements.

5 P60's for 5 years are much better if he misplaced them then payslips will suffice.
