EEA-PR for no EU family member after ROR

Hello everyone,
Having received a BRP last September after divorce, it will be 5 years since the date of marriage in June the 15th.
My understanding is that I can apply for PR after 5 years counting from the date of marriage.
Question is: what is the earliest I can send my application to the home office? Can I send it in late April : beginning of May for example.
Another point is: can I use the old EEA 4 form which Shorter and easier to fill.
Will I have to provide again all the supporting document sent for the ROR application.
