Non-Eu member with BPR, can he travel within EU without visa

Hello, my question as above, I am European and my husband now has a Biometric Permanent Residence, Remarks on back of card: EU RIGHT TO RESIDE.

Does it mean he can travel within Schengen countries without visa? He has non-EU passport and had to have a visa unless travelled with me or one of our children (who have EU passports.)

Thank you for your answers in advance.

I had this question before and the answer is no your partner will not loss anything ( well it's depends on the brexit negotiations but it's unlikely or you say it's almost impossible) .
Unless one of the moderators have another opinions ..

Hi,

Are we aware of any success stories of people with BRP (PR) travelling to Europe with out a visa?

I called TLS this morning and they said we need to apply for a visa as the PR does not state ' Family member'.

Any one has got any update on this?

Thanks.
