I am Philippine. My German spouse and I live in Germany.

I applied for an EEA Family Permit to accompany my spouse on a trip to the UK.

My application, submitted at TLScontact in Düsseldorf, was turned down three weeks ago, but my passport has not been returned yet.

The consular section of the British Embassy in Berlin e-mailed me , "(…) if we were to receive a passport that is not meant for us, it would be returned to the sender. We are not involved in any of the visa application steps."

TLScontact in Düsseldorf, however, maintains, "Your documents are currently at the Embassy. Your passport is not processed yet to be given back to you."

Has anybody experienced a similar delay outside the UK in returning the passport?

I have the same problem. I've request the cancelation and withdraw but my passport still dont back.

I need my passport to renew my Resident permit card here in Germany. Urgently.

Hi, did you eventually get your passport? how long did it take?

I am experiencing the same thing, I'm South African Student in Belgium. I had applied for a transit visa on the 6th of September but they are yet to return my passport, I have called a few times to try and get it back but no luck?

Any advice?
