Hi all
I'm going to make an application for a permanent residency card
Unfortunately I'm missing payrolls for my second year in UK and P60 as well (I didn't think about keeping everything unfortunately..)
I decided to use the bank statements to proof of my salaries but as I need these to be stamped/certified I've requested my bank (barclays) to send me these (they won't stamp these in the bank if I print everything by myself)
Unfortunately I've requested the statements to the bank already 4 times (in almost 2 months), the bank keep telling me that they've send them and they are sending again a new copy but as today nothing was yet received...
Is there anything else that I can do to?
I've told them already (in writing) that this delay is slowing down my application...

I had this same problem with Barclays. You can't do anything in the branch, they won't stamp statements you've printed, etc. Of the three banks I deal with they're the only one that's this difficult. My statements did come in the mail eventually, but in my case it was after I'd already sent the application in.

I had the same problem when I applied for my PR , my solicitor advice me to download all my statements from the online banking ( coloured copies ) I have done that for my self and my wife account and for our join account and send them with the application and I don't have any problems, we both got our PR

This is reassuring, unfortunately I didn't know what was needed years ago and I wasn't careful enough to save all my documents..
I'll try to push a little more with Barclays but if that doesn't work I'll go with the online statement

Don't waste your time with the bank just go for one line ( coloured copies only ) print everything you need and send them

i do not think that bank statement alone will stand as a proof of employment. You should contact HMRC and ask for your employment history. Just tell them that it is for tax purposes and they will send it to you asap.
