Permanent Residence - 5 continous years (EEA)

Hi All,

I am applying for my permanent residence card due to the Brexit. I have been in the UK since 1999, so clearly I have more than 5 continuous years living here.

When I fill up this form, do I need to provide evidence for the years after I entered the UK? In this case from 1999 to 2004? (plus the documents to support that? Or does it need to be 5 years up to the day I send the application to the home office? In this case from 2012 to 2017? I am not sure what the "qualifying years" actually mean here.

My main concern is that I want to apply for my citizenship and don't want to have to wait another year to do that.

Thanks for your help.
