PR for EEA 2 Spose Visa holder

Hi,
I'm on EEA 2 family permit and it ends 03/2018, my wife & I are Seperating after 4 years of marriage (in process), & we have a 4 year old child. My wife came to UK in 2005 from Poland & I came in 2006 as a student from Sri Lanka. Non of us have PR in UK.
So with all these new laws & our current relationship issues we both concern about settlement issues.
To my knowledge she can get PR providing that she lived & exercised EU rights for last five years (correct me if I'm wrong)
What worries me is that what options do I have specially after separation towards getting PR?
and can I apply for PR as I've lived here more than 10 years?
Please any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
