Permanent RC qualifying period as student-EU family member

Dear forum members, would appreciate your advice!
I married an EU national in the UK in August 2012, while I was on a 2-year student visa. The EU national has been exercising EU treaty rights all the time. I left the UK in September 2012, then applied for EEA 6months family permit, and reentered the UK in November 2012. I then applied for EEA 5-year residence card and got it in about 4 months.
My question is: when can I apply for EEA permanent residence card? 5 years since the date of our marriage in the UK or since I later reentered the UK on EEA family permit?
