Applying for permanent residence having non-overlapping part-time jobs in the last 5 years

Hello,
I would like to apply for pemanent residence and I am not sure if I qualify (the timeline of the last 5 years is below).

The first issue is that I have not paid for private health insurance at all during the last 5 years in the UK.
Would an application for permanent residence card be successful if I have not paid for health insurance but I have been self-sufficient otherwise? If the first year (12-13) that I am full-time student is a problem, should I apply in Sept 2018 that it will be 5 years since 2013 where I started working?

The second issue is that I was working on different short part-time contracts that sometimes did not overlap. Namely, I would be unemployed for 1 or 2 months before I got on contract again. I did not use any state support (benefits). I was living on my savings and I continued paying bills as always, it was the nature of my job to be on-off contracts (2012-2015). Will that be a problem in my application? I am thinking of writing clearly the reasons this happened. If it's a serious flaw I will be able to apply only when 5 years are completed after the employment that started in Sept14 (so in 2019) since then the contracts overlap.

So the last 5 years:
[year 1] Sept12-Sept13 - full time student
[year 2] Sept13-Sept14 - part time student - part time jobs (various contracts)
[year 3] Sept14-Sept15 - part time student - part time jobs - full time jobs (various contracts)
[year 4] Sept15-Sept16 - part time student - full time job (one contract)
[year 5] Sept16-Sept17 - part time student - full time job (one contract)

Any help / suggestions will be very appreciated ! :)
