Hi,
I moved to UK as EEA family member of EU national 3 months ago I will apply for RC but I need to join my wife on tenancy agreement (housing council) but they refused that and we need to live together at least one year to be able to join my wife on .
Please any body can help about this or can help me about what documents do I need to apply for RC
Also another question about GP number how long it takes to get it

"Please note permission may not always be granted for a joint tenancy. Some of the reasons why permission may be withheld are:
If you, the tenant, are in breach of your tenancy agreement (e.g. there has been a notice served for rent arrears or anti social behaviour) or
The person you are asking to be made a joint tenant with you has lived at the address for less than a year (unless in the case of marriage) or
The person you are asking to be included on the tenancy owes the Council or Newark and Sherwood Homes money or has unspent criminal convictions."

You can always add your wife to utility bills to evidence you live at the same address.
