Hi hope I am at the right place!
I am the non eea national family member of an eea national, I have a RC wich expires the 17th of July 2018 however by 19th of March 2018 I will be 5 years on the dot! In the UK, Before my RC I had the family permit, I was living in uk for about 4 months before I got my RC.
My question is when I want to apply for the PR, I have to wait till the day my RC expires, or can I do it before? Bearing in mind I was living in UK 4 months with a family permit before I got my Residence Card
Thanks so much for your help
Kind Regards

I have similar question. I am EU citizen and my husband is non EU, currently he has EU RC valid for 5 years, but before that he had EEA family permit and lived 5 months with it in UK. We came to UK together and got employed straight away and we are still employed. So when can my husband apply for a PR?

Hello I think your husband is qualified to apply. He would be qualified after living with you for five years during which you are working. I recently got mine, I posted my experience here:eea-route-applications/success-non-eu-e ... 44455.html

Best of luck!
