Hi,

I am a duel citizen of both the Republic of South Africa and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

I am a born South African, but I obtained EU nationality via ancestry and thus I have a Dutch/EU passport.
I have two children. Both are born South Africans, but they have also obtained Dutch passports.

My wife is a South African citizen only

I have a potential job offer in the United Kingdom.

I am wondering if I can just get some pointers in what documents I need to get in order should I accept it.
For me and my children, am I correct in assuming that we don’t have to do anything? Note, since I will be paying taxes there, I would like to make use of the NHS. Is it necessary to apply for a residency card before hand?

My wife only has a South African passport and thus I am unsure what we should apply for. She is a teacher and our wish would be for her to start working asap. What kind of visa should we apply for her?
Thank you

No, you can arrive and start working with your EU passport. You will need to apply for a National Insurance number though.

EEA Family Permit. This will be valid for 6 months. She can apply for a residence card once in the UK.
