hi

asking this for a friend of mine who now lives in Denmark.
He's a British National (Oversea) passport holder, recently got his ''residence permit'' in Denmark(issued by Danish Gov.). its in paper format, his status is ''European Citizen''

question is can he now move to the UK and settle just as any other EU citizen?

Whatever his status in Denmark it is most likely irrelevant and from what I understand here he is not a Britsh citizen and thus not a Union citizen. A residence permit wouldn't be necessary in the latter case. In any case, you are probably better off asking what rights BNO passport holders have in the UK in this sub forum.

If he is the family member of an EU citizen, then he should be able to easily move to the UK or other EU countries. But as it is, he has to enjoy living in Denmark!
