HI THERE MY SITUATION IS THIS: I ARRIVED IN U.K ON AUGUST 2005 ON FIANCE VISA. GOT MARRIED IN NOVEMBER 2005 TO AN A8 CITIZEN.GOT FAMILY MEMBER RESIDENCE STAMP MAY 2006, AND RESIDENCE CARD ON AUGUST 2007. NOW DO I APPLY FOR PR IN NOVEMBER AS IT WILL BE 5 YEARS WE ARE MARRIED OR DO I GET IT AUTOMATICALLY? ALSO MY WIFE HAS BEEN HERE SINCE 2001 AND WORKING SINCE DECEMBER 2004 BUT SHE ONLY REGISTERED FOR WRS ON DECEMBER 2005 AS SHE RUNG UP THE WRS HELPLINE AT THE TIME THE A8 COUNTRIES JOINED THE EU AND WAS TOLD THAT SHE DIDNT NEED TO APPLY FOOR WRS SCHEME AS SHE WAS IN THE COUNTRY B4 THAT.WE ONLY REALISED THAT SHE NEEDED TO REGISTER WHEN I APPLIED FOR RC WHEN WE GOT MARRIED AND WAS TOLD THAT SHE NEED TO APPLY UNDER WRS. ALSO WHEN DO YOU THINK SHE CAN APPLY FOR NATURALISATION? SHE HAS BEEN ON THE SAME JOB SINCE DECEMBER 2004 BUT GOT THE WR CERTIFICATE ON DECEMBER 2005.WILL THE YEAR WITHOUT THE WR CERTIFICATE REGARDED AS NOT EXERCISING TREATY RIGHTS???
SORRY IF THAT IS CONFUSING BUT SO IS THE U.K IMMIGRATION LAWS AND THE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WORKING FOR THE H.O. MANY THANKS

No need to be sorry, but if one waits for a response it will usually be forthcoming. Posting the same thing in many places will lead to comfusion (if that's a word).
