Hi there
I’m planning to get married this year,im Polish and residing in UK from 4 years, from that time I’m registered under WRS and working in the same place, this week ill apply for EEA1,my bride is Filipino so we’re planning the wedding on Philippines which will be the easiest way, the question is what will be the easiest way to bring her to UK,I was reading all about EEA family permit but I’m not sure if she can apply from abroad or maybe spouse visa would be better choice for start
I can support us from my work easily without any help from public funds, she’s qualified professional so she won’t have any problems with finding job in here anyway

Thank you for replays

She can apply for a Family Permit (free) from the Philippines, if she is travelling with you or coming to join you in the UK. Once in the UK she can stay as long as you are exercising treaty rights.

See:

http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply ... s#23094897

She can't apply for a spouse visa unless you have Permanent Residence.

Best advice is to read the UKBA's guidance and forms, then ask any specific quesitons here.

If you search the board then you are likely to find advice already given to others in a similar situation.
