UKBA refuses to give details about EEA2 process

hello.

I posted out my EEA2 application 2 months ago, exactly 5th of october, i got my Coa 5th of november, well everything is fine, but i decided to contact ukba by phone to ask about the process of my residency card,but they told me that they do not give such details, and that i can phone them about the process only after 6 months,

am wondering if this is the case with everybody?

they do tell that your application is under consideration but they never tell the result or progress etc

What do you mean by the "process"? What kind of information do you want about the process?

directive, i wanted to ask them if my application is at caseworker or not yet, i have been waiting for nearly 2 months and a half, i know it is early, but i just wanted to know because of some future travel plans , but they refused to say anything.
