EEA Family permit for Sister

Hey,
I have become a British citizen recently & i wish to get my sister to UK on EEA family permit .She is completely dependent on me financially & also living in my house which I bought in my NON EU country.
So Please advice it is possible to get her to UK on EEA family permit & if yes then what all documents I have to provide.

Do you also hold citizenship of another EU country?

You can't use the EEA route if you are British living in the UK unless you have another EEA citizenship or you moved back to the UK from another EEA country.
You will need to use the UK immigration route.

Even if he had moved back from another EU country he still wouldn't be able to bring the sister on an EU family permit as extended family members can't make use of surrinder singh can they? Unless my memory fails me first thing on a Saturday.

You might well be right. I just made a general comment as it seems that the OP is under the impression that once becoming British he can use the EEA route.
(at least this post is not in tandem
).

The 2006 regulations as written only extend to spouses and civil partners.

Regulation 8 of the 2006 Regulations covers extended family members and sisters & brothers does comes under that

Please go and read the regulations in their entirety, especially their interpretation at the start (part 1); . "EEA National means member of an EEA state. "EEA state means a state other than the UK".
Reg 8 would not appear to apply to your case.

OP you do not qualify under
Surinder Singh or
regulation 9therefore it is pointless duscussing whether your sister will qualify.
Even though Reg 9 dont cover Extended family member, those category can claim their right under Article 3(2) of the Citizen directive, as failure to recognise their right will mean a violation of the anti discrimation provision of community law.
