I am coming to London on Tier 1 Visa.
1) Do we need any document to buy SIM in UK? In India, they need ID proof, address proof, photo?
2) Do we need any adapter to use Indian Spam in UK? Are electrical plugs in UK are same as in India?
Thanks,

Conversion plugs - round pin (IN) to flat pin (UK) - are easily available in India and also in the asian shops here in the UK.
Suggest that bring a mobile handset from India. Buy "pay as you go" (pre-paid) SIM card and you're go to go! Alternatively, you can subscribe to the fixed rate post-paid tariffs which offer free handsets. Check any of the websites (O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange) to get an idea.
