Hello,

I have a simple quick question,please be assured that I ran a search before placing this question here. I am trying to call few family members from Pakistan on visit visa and sponsoring them fully. One of the member is a heart patient and I wanted to find out what travel and medical insurance is possible for them.

I would love to hear some first hand experience from people who have dealt with this kind of situation.

Can they/you not buy a health insurance policy from Pakistan/UK which covers them during their visit to UK?

I spoke to friend he told me that they used to do like buying insurance policy from Pakistan but due to abuse UK nhs has stopped excepting those insurance policies. I think I will need to find out from the NHS now. Thanks.
