Cost of living in various places in UK

Hi all,

Its generally heard that London is quite expensive and other places are relatively economical. I have got my HSMP approval and started looking for jobs. As of now I am outside UK.
Though its there that which place depends on what job we get for our profile. However, generally while applying to jobs, I am seeking for a rough comparison amongs various places in UK. This would give a fair idea of how much are the monthly expenses at various locations.

Ppl already in UK, can you please post ur average and approximate expenditure for 2 adults and an infant at your location.

Leyton: London (East) Zone 3
One Bed room flat in East London with garden: 680 (it is a big flat)
Council Tax: 120 Pound
Bills (elec. gas,net, tv,wather etc):150
Food: 250 - 300
Transportation: Zone 3 to 1 (tube 105 Pound)
