KET Certificate - Do we need to submit statement of results?

Post by nitas » Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:58 pm

Hi,

My husband has applied for a Spouse Visaon 14th May 2012 from Mumbai, India.

I read in one of the topics that a spouse visa application was rejected on the grounds that the results sheet was not submitted.

Is the results sheet required to be submitted? If yes, can it be submitted now?

Hoping someone can answer this question soon.

Check this link http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... -tests.pdf

The link shows all the approved English language tests and what is needed in terms of documents.
And no you can't send anything once you have submitted the case. All you can do is wait until their response. But for most of those exams they do require statement of results and a certificate, no harm, best to just put it all in the file.

Hi,

You need to submit the statement of results also with the visa application. Have a look at the link below which details the requirement of documents regarding english language test. Look for the 1st exam i.e. Key English Test and column 'documents required with the application' details what you need to submit with regards to english test.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... -tests.pdf

Not sure if you still be able to submit it, but if you have recent submitted the application. I would say to go for it and send the 'statement of results' and any additional document related to your test annotating your husband's name, DOB, and application ref number. Also, don't send it in a normal post try to send it in an urgent or recorded deliver so that you have a proof that you had submitted the additional certificate soon after your application.

Good luck.

I also submitted my wifes application without secret number + statements of results. I only gave the certificate as that's all it asks for in supporting documents on main ukba website.I just saw in the pdf file of english tests that it's needed so it's missing from the application. Did anyone here receive visa without statement of results? or refusal rejection?

many thanks
Jonathan

Hi Jon,

I would say if you have submitted the application recently, try to send the test report via, post, Fax and email. otherwise your application may get rejected and then its a long waiting period.

Which test did your wife take?

Hi Zaubair,

thanks for your reply

KET English and passed a2 which is better than a1, but you know it's strange they give statement of results only online and not with the certificate, so you would think in reality you just give what you receive in your hands from the British Council which is certificate. it says on the UKBA website only about certificate.. it's only when you open the pdf of approved test centres you see this..

i have sent an email to VFS and Embassy Visa section Complaints... I emailed secret number and id and breakdown of results

i have of course included the original certificate with the initial application..

if they don't reply to email i will post by courier also.

hope will be ok i really worry.. it's not very good online that it always says certificate from their guidance.. it's only in 1 document that it asks about this.. but i saw online some people are rejected for this. maybe they did this on purpose to reject people who they don't like..

regards
jonathan
