Accomodation requirements - Required documentation

Post by stan1ey » Sun Feb 03, 2013 7:06 pm

Hi

Im about to apply under FLR(M)

I own my own home but I dont see any specific guidance on the documentary evidence required to be able to prove this.

Will an annual mortgage statement from my bank (dated Dec 12) be acceptable?

Thanks
Steve

Do they really ask you to prove whether you own a house or not ?

No, they ask you to prove that you have long term accomodation. For renters, this would be in the form of a rental agreement but there is nothing in the guidance to state how this accomodation requirement will be measured in terms of evidence.

For all the other requirements, the required documentary evidence is very specific but not for accom.

Can you please state the page number or the section and question number of your query, because i recently applied for my spouse under FLRm where i just ticked living in rental accommodation and i didn't see any question regarding proof of rental agreement.

Hi - there is no mention of evidence in the form- I have answered the questions about accomodation.

Does this mean that you arent expected to provide any documentary evidence?

Thanks!

if you are talking about section 7c-accommodation, then i don't think you need to provide evidence. Moreover i have not provided evidence for rented property.
