How to cash cheque

Does anyone know how to cash the cheque that UKBA has sent in relation to a refund of an invalid application. The applicant does not have a bank account and will need to pay a new fee for resubmitting the application

It depends where the person is living

Thanks Diddgindeep but isnt there any way the UKBA can issue the cheque to his solicitors as he would have to pay the money shop people to cash the cheque and he also doesnt have any ID as his Jamaican passport is with UKBA and its expired.

I am not sure if UKBA will do that.

If he have bank statement, utility bill and other form of ID even if is expired together he should be able to cash it.

Apart from that some of the government cheque can be cashed up to 6 month. And so by that time his documents might be with him.
