Hi everyone,
My wife is candian and we applied for spouse visa and today we got the refusal letter. The refusal was based on my employment. I'm the sole director of a company and i get a salary. I thought that it meant i was Employed but they are saying im self employed.
To Qualify i need to show £62,500 in cash savings. Me and my wife showed £33,000.
Last month after we applied me and mother sold one of their properties abroad. We havent got those funds yet here in london but can do soon. My mother is happy to gift me this proceeds as inheritance from my late father. All this i can prove too. But will they accept this as its not been in my account for 6 months?
Plus we were due to have the wedding reception in Canada at the end of this month and she was scheduled to come to London with me before we leave for our Honeymoon in mid April
Will she be able to travel to the UK once she appeals. She doesnt need a visa to visit London but will they stop her at immigration and also will she keep her passport once she appeals.
Im really stressed out as everything is booked.
