does an applicant need to submit employment letter even if sponsor's income exceed the required threshold. Your comment on this is highly appreciated.

Thank you so much MPH80.
sorry for not making a clear query. basically we have enclosed my employment letter along with 6months pay slips ,2 years p60 and 6 months bank statements for my wife's FLR(M). My annual salary is more than 20k and we only need to show 18600.
we enclosed her payslips and bank statements for 6 months pay slips, last year's p60 and 6 months bank statements but did not enclose her employment letter.
MY query here is , would Homeoffice take my salary into account and approve her application or do they need to see her employment letter to honour my income and approve the application?
regards
laxman

It's the same answer - yes.

The documentation is compulsory.

Chances are your application will fail and you'll need to appeal, providing the letter.

Is it okay if we send that letter when we receive the acknowledgement letter quoting the case reference number. Thank you so much for your advice.
