How early can you extend flr(ml

Hi,
My wife's current flr(m) expires in November. Can she apply for an extension now (5 months in advance)?

PS:We are not considering settlement for her since I will be not in the country from July onwards)

No she can't. The earliest would be 28 days before the expiry of her current visa.
