Spouse visa application - change in employment position

Post by mlaufs » Mon Jul 01, 2013 6:22 pm

My husband and I are about to apply for for his spouse visa. I have been working here in the UK for six months and my concern is that I changed working roles half way through.

I initially got a post as a teacher through an agency and after three months, I changed to doing supply teaching. I stayed with the same agency so my employer has not changed and my daily rate remained the same. Although I had a few days where work was not available, on the whole we have made enough to meet the financial requirements. Will this change in roles count against us?

My other concern is that I was not paid during school holidays and as a result my April and May salary does not look great as it stands alone. Holiday rate is however calculated into my daily rate so I am hoping that they take this into consideration and they don't look at my monthly income. Does anyone know if this would be a problem?

Any help would be great!
