How long until your first child is 7 has s(he) spent the 7 years in the UK? Do you have sole responsibility for the child?

Well u can aplply on flr o for stay on article 8 if they give u any stay at least u can work. Inless ur child is 7 or u lived here for 14 years there is no other category to apply in or if u faving persecution back home thn apply asylum. Other than that rules are rules for every one imagine people working hard paying loads of tax still cant claim benefit it was cleared to u when u decided to have kids. There are people on student visas lived almost 10 years with 2 3 kids still no right to benefits. Benefits are of british people or some one who has indefinite righy of leave.

I dont thinl so as u didnt lodge any application did they say they will decide what to do with u or u jusf went anx said u r overstayer and they rwgister u for reporting. U shud have send flro for article 8 basis. Just becouse ur kids are born here doeant give u any legal right so u cant use them as shield unless ur child is 7.
