applying for spouse visa ( tenancy agreement )

hi there , i have a quick question ...i am applying for a spouse visa for my wife and i m wondering if a tenancy agreement of a double room and a letter from the landlord saying that it will be ok for my wife to live with us in the flat ...as its a 4 bedroom flat with a seating room ... only me, my landlord and one more person who lives there ...and can you please help me ...how to write the letter and what should i mention ...thank you very much

Remember that:

The ECO should be satisfied that the accommodation complies with the following requirements:

it is (or will be) owned or legally occupied for the exclusive use of the couple (see definition in section below); and
it is capable of accommodating the couple, and any children, without overcrowding as defined in the Housing Act 1985 (see MAA134).

So the Tenancy Agreement with a letter from the landlord stating that you have at least a bedroom for your exclusive use should suffice.

I would suggest the landlord includes:

- size of property
- confirm what is shared and what is for your personal use
- that he is happy for your wife to move in
- duration of tenancy
