UK visa refused from Islamabad

Post by binubinu » Fri Sep 05, 2014 4:25 pm

Hi

I applied for a spouse uk visa through Islamabad, Pakistan on 9th January 2014. I received an email saying my documents are ready for collection on 3rd September 2014. When I went to the visa application center to collect, I found that I have been refused visa to the UK. Below is the reason for refusal.

I'm confused as to what to do now. Should I appeal or should I make a new application?

Are they right? Do the payslips fail to match the amount paid into the bank? And if so - why is that?

Yes it does for the first few months cuz my HR record was not set up on time so I was paid in cash. In my bank statement for April and May 2013 there is no payment shown.

Did you explain that anywhere? Covering letter? Other information section?

If you did ... appeal ... if you didn't - reapply - it'll be quicker.

No I just realised I hadn't mentioned that anywhere. Is it really faster to reapply, I can't just include the same documents cuz they are all outdated now. I would need to gather new ones and provide new payslips, and if I do that then I don't need to explain the cash salary cuz that was at the beginning of my employment, which I wouldn't provide if I reapplied.

Appeals can take anywhere from 3-4 months to 1 year depending on where the appeal is heard.

Hi, if there is even a £0.01 discrepancy in your payslips and money which has gone into the bank, the application and any subsequent review and appeal will be unsuccessful. I would recommend you to reapply with the correct documentation.

Hi this thread was from my 1st refusal, I did reapply since then but got refused again because the documents I provided got mixed up with someone else's. I have therefore appealed the decision from my 2nd application.
