Post by Dinesh4u16 » Sun Apr 05, 2015 2:21 pm

Dear All,

Does Any one have draft letter copy of sole responsibility for child visa from India. Or how I can prove, I have sole responsibility for my child and what are documents required for it.

It would be great help if any one have it.

Thanks,

Dear CR001,

I do not have any court order stipulating. I am a single parent for my daughter (I married to other woman in India after widow) and I am going to apply for her visa from India.

For a visa purpose, I have prove that, I have sole responsibility for my daughter.

Thanks,

Dinesh

You can submit your deceased wife death certificate and the child detailed birth certificate showing you as her father. You can also submit your marriage certificate for your deceased wife to show link etc.

Dear CR001,

My daughter is 12 years old and she is in India. At the moment, I am on Tier 2 General, and my ILR is due around July 2015.

Actually I am looking for a draft copy of a consent letter to UKBA to show "sole responsibility" for my daughter.

Thanks,

Dinesh

There isn't one. You can use the documents already suggested. As you are the childs only surviving parent, there shouldnt be a need for anything else as you automatically have sole resposibility following the mothers death.

You could write a letter explaining the stuation, but there is no template.

Dear CR001,

That's what I wanted to explain my situation, I know there is no specific template.

But, If some thing is there (few paragraphs or sentences), then i can modify it myself.

Thanks,

Dinesh

There isn't what you are looking for as each person has different circumstances. No one on a public forum can know what your circumstances are or tell you what to write.

If you write a letter, you only need to tell the truth and facts and as already explained, you have the necessary certificates etc so I don't think there should be an issue.

It would different if you were divorced for example, as then you would need court docs to prove sole responsibility and the other parents permission. This is not the case for you and perhaps you are over thinking and stressing too much, which is understandable.

Dear CR001,

I have posted below post on Immigration Board but i did not get any response of it.

Could you please advise me, It would be great help!

I switched from PSW visa to Tier 2 General PBS visa while working with my current employer. My COS details are below.

Date of COS assigned: 01 July 2010
Job start date on COS: 02 July 2010
Stamping visa date: 03 August 2010.

I have extended after 3 years and valid until approximate July 2016. Now time to apply for IRL.

While searching on internet, i found below details from given link but i am not able to find this detail from UKBA Tier 2 PBS Guidance.

http://www.legalcentre.org/Tier-2-Gener ... orker.html

"If you are already in the UK in a different immigration category, you may be able to apply to switch into the Tier 2 (General) category. If we approve your application, we will give you permission to remain here for a maximum of 3 years, or the time given on your certificate of sponsorship plus 14 days, whichever is shorter. This period will begin on the start date given on the certificate of sponsorship......."

Question:

1) Which date should I consider to calculate 5 years for ILR ?
2) Earliest date to apply ILR?

Thanks,

Dinesh

Dear CR001,

My First entry in the UK was 22 Sept 2007 as a Student visa, After completion of my course, I got PSW, valid until Nov 2010.
While PSW, I got professional Job and then switched into Tier 2 General Visa.

While PSW and During Job, I visited my family in India during 28 Jan 2010 to 15 Feb 2010 (Annual leave for about 2 weeks). So my second entry in UK was 15 Feb 2010.

Kind Regards,

Dinesh

If you are wanting to apply for ILR based on Tier 2 visa, you can apply no sooner than 28 days before visa issue date if you switched to Tier 2 within the UK (3rd August 2015 minus 28 days).

PSW and Student visas do not count towards ILR, unless applying for ILR based on 10 years long residence.

Hi Dear CR001,

Again one more issue,

My employer (sponsorer) have changed their accounting system (payroll system) from April 2015. They tie up with one payroll company. On Payslip employer name is fine but in bank statement shows different name because of change in payroll system (amount tie up with payslip and bank statement).

Question

Due to this changes, Is there any issue getting ILR?

If Yes, is there any solutions, please?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Dinesh

Appendix 1 or 2 for VAF4A form for Child visa from India

Post by Dinesh4u16 » Thu Jul 23, 2015 7:12 pm

Dear Guru,

I am planning to bring my daughter in the UK. At the moment she is around 13 years old. I am in the process of filling the application form VAF4A but I am not sure about which appendix 1 or 2? it is confusing for me. most probably appendix 1 if I am not wrong but still i want to make sure it.

About my visa: I came to UK in September 2007 on student visa, then PSW and then Tier 2 general visa (all these known as Limited Visa according to UKVI). Two weeks ago i got ILR. I am a single parent for for her.

Any help would be appreciated!

Kind regards,

Dinesh4u16 wrote:Two weeks ago i got ILR. I am a single parent for for her.
Appendix 1.
YOU SHOULD COMPLETE THIS FORM IF YOU WISH TO COME TO THE UK AS:
• The adult dependant relative of a person who is present and settled in the UK; or
• The adult dependant relative of a person with limited leave to enter or remain in the UK as a refugee or as the beneficiary of humanitarian protection; or
The child of settled parents or with one parent who has limited leave as a partner or parent granted under the Rules in force before 9 July 2012.

IF YOU ARE NOT COMING TO THE UK UNDER ONE OF THESE CATEGORIES, YOU ARE COMPLETING THE WRONG APPENDIX.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
