Employment letter and payslips questions

Post by normad91 » Tue Jun 16, 2015 6:08 pm

Hello everyone.

I have a question about employment letter and payslips for UK spouse visa.

I work full time and earn the necessary level of income to meet the financial requirements under category A.

My employer has written a letter confirming my hours of work, rate, annual salary, time off etc. The thing is because my employment is in a restaurant business (not a big one too), my employer's letters are not on a "company headed paper" as specified on the UKVI documents. His letters simply have the business address and contact details, along with his name and signature. There is no logo, house style or a stamp. I am just wondering would this cause any issues to the application? Is the signature of the employer enough?

If it is worth mentioning, my employer has also provided me with a letter from his accountant, stating that I work for his client (my employer), and also stating my annual income. The letter has the accountant house style and stamp on it. Does this provide more assurance to the ECO along with my employment letter (which like I said is not stamped)?

My final question, is it worth asking my employer to sign all the payslips I'm submitting? They are original and contain the business name etc, however they are in black and white, not sure if they will look like photo copies to the ECO or not.

Thanks in advance
