Financial requirement: delaying overtime payments

Post by Forfor » Sat Sep 05, 2015 11:42 am

Hi,

I need some advice please regarding the financial requirement.
My salary is £18,001 and the job only started midway May. I've been doing overtime every month but delaying receiving the payment so it goes into the next month's payslip e.g. did overtime beginning of July but got it paid in Aug, did OT in beginning of Aug but payments will be received in Sep and so forth. My payslip has the dates I did the OT and how much was paid.
Would the delaying be a problem with the Home Office?
And because I'm delaying the payments Nov payslip will meet the financial requirement from Oct OT so do I still do OT anyway in Nov just in case?

Another Q, I started midway May, I got paid in June and didn't do any OT that month but payslip says 2 weeks payment from May and gross pay is £1550+. Can I use that payslip or do I have to use July onwards?

And last question, do I have to go apply in person or can my husband do that if I just post everything to him?
I'm thinking of applying in Dec if possible and visiting him in Nov.

Many thanks guys

If your husband is the applicant, he has to apply. You cannot apply in person for him. Where is he applying from?

I am not sure about your income question but am sure someone will answer you soon.
