FLR(M) - Rescheduled.

Post by phonique » Thu Dec 17, 2015 10:30 pm

Today me and my wife went to Birmingham to the premium visa service. We were on our way when we received a phone call from the home office saying that every member of staff was locked out the building because of a firealarm.

We decided to carry on and turn up and hope they could get back in the building and process our application. We turned up and found they were locked out and awaiting a lock smith to pick the lock. We got escorted to the Home Office(Some other building down the road). Here they took our details and took our documents. Within 30 minutes they came back and said they will reschedule us to come back on Monday to do the Biometrics and give us our decision since the biometrics can only be taken in the building everyone is locked out of. They didn't give us a yes or no in regards to our documents but did not ask us for anything else or any questions whatsoever. Can we assume that since they are asking us to come back to do the Biometrics that our application is accepted or do they take biometrics regardless ?

We've been worried sick this last week and now we have to wait a further 3 days before we go back and get our official response.

Thanks!

They take biometrics regardless, it is standard process for ALL in person applications.
