Hi all,
In December I will be looking to apply for a Family Visa to allow my wife to come and live with me in the UK. In December I will have had the necessary £33k in a bank account for the period of 6 months to back up my non-employment income of a £9k bursary (starting in September this year and paid for the remainder of the academic year). The math for this being ((£15,800 tax-free equivalent - £9,000) x 2.5) + £16,000 = £33k.
I have a couple of questions I need to ask regarding proof bursary receipt and proof of cash savings remaining at the required amount for 6 months.
1. Will I have to supply a copy of the letter notifying me of my bursary and it's payment dates from the university with the visa application?
2. Will I have to provide a copy of the monthly statement of the account the £33k is resting in?
3. Will I have to provide a copy of the statements where the bursary is being placed into one of my accounts for the 3 months prior to the application if they enter an account different to the £33k account?
Kind regards, this would be a huge help and the last information before the application is clearly sorted in our minds!
