Financial Requirement for spouse visa

Post by ranaz » Sat Oct 22, 2016 4:07 pm

Hi
This forum is v very helpful I have a strange question behalf of my friend please help her. Her husband got ILR she is on dependent visa. Her visa is going to expire to the mid Dec her husband started job in Aug it will be nearly 5 months on expiry date his current salary full fill the financial requirement but it is not 6 months. They have one son as well who is on dependent visa. They have saving which is enough for one person but not for two, what option they have got:
1. Apply with saving and 5 month payslips.
2. Is there any option they apply separately using saving for one person.
3. Is there any-other option for son he is 10.

Please guide her she is very confused. Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by 'dependent' visa?

Is she a PBS dependent or on a spouse settlement visa?

Did he get ILR under long residence or on the 5 year route?

In which case his wife and son have no choice but to switch to FLR(M) (spouse and dependent). The visa postal fee for the two applications will be £1622.

What were the earnings in the husband's previous employment?

Thanks Casa but they can't make the financial requirement as nearly one month payslip short.
Her husband was director of limited company if he shows his previous income, they can't use saving. Saving is more as compare to previous income. Thanks

Your post is difficult to make sense of.I am not sure how the financial requirement is met in your case.

Difficult to advice on a case I have difficulty in understanding.

Is sponsor employed or self employed. If he is director, then that is classified as self employed. He needs to provide a years earning not 6 months.

Thanks Obie
Sponsor was self employed before Aug. But he started new job (employed) in Aug. Problem is if he shows his previous income then he can't use his saving . He wants to show his saving and new job which started from Aug.
