Good morning,
I was hoping someone could give me advice on a couple of issues I have.
I am about to apply for my wife's FLR (M) visa, and I have pulled all of the documentation together. I am however missing one payslip. I can print out a copy of the electronic payslip online, and make a cover letter stating that I have lost the payslip. Even if I didn't include the payslip, my earnings exceed the minimum financial threshold. Should I include the ePayslip and cover letter? Or should I just omit the payslip altogether (although it will show on my bank account).
Secondly, I'm trying to figure out what I should put in my annual earnings on the application. I am an offshore worker. My situation is that I worked for a company from 2009 until January this year of which I was on salary. Before getting made redundant in January, I had done over days on top of my basic contract. I have since been rehired by the company in May on a day rate basis. Because I technically left the company I have been advised that I should say in the application that I have been working for my current employer for less than 6 months.
I understand that in the annual salary for the current job, since it is less than 6 months, I take my earnings, divide that by 6 and multiply by 12 to get the annual salary.
I am unsure of what to do for my annual salary for the previous job. My previous contract stated an amount but as I said, I did overdays on top of this. Should I take what I earned in my previous position over 12 months (Feb 15 - Jan 16), or enter the past 12 months as my annual salary?
Anyone who can give advice with these queries, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
