FLR (M) Financial evidence

Post by Cjhorm85 » Sat Oct 29, 2016 11:42 am

Good morning,

I was hoping someone could give me advice on a couple of issues I have.

I am about to apply for my wife's FLR (M) visa, and I have pulled all of the documentation together. I am however missing one payslip. I can print out a copy of the electronic payslip online, and make a cover letter stating that I have lost the payslip. Even if I didn't include the payslip, my earnings exceed the minimum financial threshold. Should I include the ePayslip and cover letter? Or should I just omit the payslip altogether (although it will show on my bank account).

Secondly, I'm trying to figure out what I should put in my annual earnings on the application. I am an offshore worker. My situation is that I worked for a company from 2009 until January this year of which I was on salary. Before getting made redundant in January, I had done over days on top of my basic contract. I have since been rehired by the company in May on a day rate basis. Because I technically left the company I have been advised that I should say in the application that I have been working for my current employer for less than 6 months.

I understand that in the annual salary for the current job, since it is less than 6 months, I take my earnings, divide that by 6 and multiply by 12 to get the annual salary.
I am unsure of what to do for my annual salary for the previous job. My previous contract stated an amount but as I said, I did overdays on top of this. Should I take what I earned in my previous position over 12 months (Feb 15 - Jan 16), or enter the past 12 months as my annual salary?

Anyone who can give advice with these queries, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey,

Anyone able to help me with any of this? I have managed to sort out the issue of the payslip (Will get my employer to provide another copy, stamped with a covering letter), but still need some advice on the Financial Issue. I phoned up UKBA, and they couldn't give a definitive answer. I understand how to calculate whether I meet the requirements it's just what to put in the online application.

It's just what to put for the annual salary in my previous job. Do I:

- Put my annual earnings in from Feb 15 - Jan 16 when I got made redundant (This means providing more than 12 months of payslips and statements).
- Do what I did for my current employment (Take my total earnings from Nov 15 - Apr 16, divide by 6, and multiply by 12)
- Put down the amount I have earned in the last 12 months (I know this is how they calculate the 2nd part in Category B, although this would then encompass my current period of employment as well, and technically be not what I earned in my PREVIOUS job).

As I said, I'm struggling to get answers for this, and I want to get it right. I make the financial requirement without any issues, but I don't want to give them a reason to refuse my wife's visa.

Thanks again in advance for any help.
