FLR FP Private Life Extension

Hi my friend was granted leave to remain on the private life grounds 2 years ago under the following law as a result of a successful FLR FP application:

"is aged 18 years or above and under 25 years and has spent at least half of his life living continuously in the UK "

When they go to extend their leave, do they have to send documents to the home office to prove they have lived at least half their life in the UK again or do they just have to send documents to prove that they lived in the UK for past 2 years since they have been granted leave?

Page 54 states

15.5 Private Life in the UK
In order to demonstrate any private life in the UK, the following documents are examples of
what should be provided in addition to those listed in 15.1. Enough evidence must be provided
to satisfy us that residence in the UK was continuous. It is recommended that documents are
provided to cover each year for the whole length of the claimed period of residence.

So it'll be for the whole length. Hope it all goes well.
