Accommodation requirements for DLA entitled sponser

Hi there,
My husband is receiving DLA £307 a month , ESA around £ 350 per month. His have one bedroom flat and rent and council bill is paid by ESA. I am from asia and he is sponsoring me to join to him in uk. He is exampt from 18600 finance rule, and he have more then £130 left after paying bills. Now trouble is in his landlord contract it says only one person. he is on ESA and if I join him , am I aloud to stay with him? Can we ask benefit people to change contract from one to two? I saw lots of people receiving DLA sponsored their partner to flat they have from benefit, how they are able to do it? What procedure do they follow? On property servey it says accommodation is suitable for 2 people.
Any advice and suggestions will be helpful to me
