My spouse has just submitted the UK spouse visa (outside UK) on 7th July 07. How long do I have to submit all supporting document?

I just came across the 25 day rule regarding the payslip and bank statement, I dont understand how this rule works

My June payslip dates 30th, but I will print off my 6 month bank statement on 15 July 07. My spouse has a visa appointment to hand in the supporting document on the 4th August 07

I'm concern now about the 25 days rule

Your all financial and employment documents should be within 28 days at the time of submitting online application and paying the fees.

E statements are accepted with bank stamp and letter. If you didn't have bank statement at the time of submitting application unfortunately you have a problem and these will not be considered if submitted. You might have to cancel application, ask for refund and submit new application with fees. Please wait for a senior member to confirm this.

Documents needs to be submitted within 15 days of biometrics registration. That depends on from where your spouse is applying as for some countries they take documents at the VAC and for some you have to send documents to Sheffield.

You should be fine to provide bank statements which are printed after the date of the application being submitted as long as they are compliant and for the correct period.

Also can we fill the VAF4A PDF version with an online PDF tool ?

Although your spouse will complete and submit Appendix 2 - as you are the applicant it is intended to be completed as though you are completing the form.

There is no signature section to the Appendix 2 form.

It may be completed using online PDF software and submitted - I would just ensure for the date boxes the digits print in the box provided.

Hi everyone

I had one payslip missing. My employer printed a copy of the missing payslip, but certify in the employer's letter that the copy is a true copy of the original.

Will that be sufficient enough for the payslip or do I need to get the copy sign and dated?
