Hi there, i am new to this forum but its seems that there a lot of people who knows quite a lot about immigration. I was shocked today to receive a letter from the Home office with the notification to be liable to be detained. That was the least i could ever expected. I was granted ILR 3 years ago on the ground of domestic abuse.Since there was a child involve so we had also residency proceeding going on for the child. I won the case twice but my ex-husband kept on applying for child custody. I do believe that he has something to do with that letter. what i am more surprise is that in the letter they said that i have received that notification because i am a person without leave in the UK which i dont understand because i have ILR and in case it would have been revoked, would the home office not let me know beforehand so that i can voice my view on their decisions? they have also pinpoint section 3(3)(a) of the immigration act.
please someone help me understand.
thank you guys
