Spouse Visa English Requirement

Hi All,

I am a ILR holder and would possible get married this year. I would like to know what are the english language requirements for the spouse visa, my would be spouse has a law degree from India. So I would like to know does she need to apply for any english language test (Eg. IELTS etc.) ? or her bachelors law degree from India is sufficient to prove her english language requirement ?

If anyone can also point the necessary checklist required for a spouse visa in the case of a court marriage instead of a traditional marriage ?
