Family Visit question

Post by nirma » Sat May 19, 2018 8:22 pm

My parents will be applying for a visitor visa to visit me and my brother in the UK. My parents have a property in their name back home. My parents are thinking of sending property ownership document as part of their application to show they have ties in their home country. My question is,

a) does HO accepts property ownership document as a proof of ties to the home country?

b) does the property ownership document needs to be original or attested photocopy would work?

c) the documents needs to be translated as they are not in English, can my parents just send the translation or they need to send both original and translation?

d) My parents would be a bit hesitant to send original property document to the Home office in their home country because if they loose it, it is very difficult to re-apply for them from the Govt departments a lot of headache (bribes etc.). is there an alternative to sending original document?

Thank you
