Spouse visa - military accommodation? Please HELP!!

Post by Samanthajoanne1994 » Mon Nov 12, 2018 7:43 pm

Hello, I have such a strange question.

I am getting married in March to my Indonesian fiancé, then I want to apply for the spouse visa.

I meet the financial requirements, I earn 20,000 pounds before tax. But I am having issues with the accommodation issues as my situation seems unique.

I live with my parents, but my dads in the RAF and I live in military housing, we don’t have a tenancy agreement he has a license to occupy.

We live behind a fence, my dads asked someone of a higher rank if my partner can live with us and he said yes, but he can only live here for 30 days in that time he needs to apply for a security clearance (only can be done after he is accepted a visa).

So I can’t get a surveyor round because he won’t get on camp, my dad though (the one with the license to occupy) would say my partner can stay.

I’m going out of my mind stressing about this, could anyone advise?

If you have any friend/family member who has at least one double room to let you then it can meet the requirement.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
